Wondrous Cross

Wondrous Cross can be used either as a standing spray or casket cover.  This symbol of our Lord's sacrifice, now covered in beautiful flowers and weeping tendrils of ivy signifies not only God's saving grace, but also the bitter sweetness of our loss.  The death of a Christian (or their "promotion" as those in the Salvation Army might say) is both celebration (the bright flowers) and mourning (the ivy tendrils).
